How does Crew Dashboard work?
Answer
To track data across hundreds of crews in real time, managers can oversee crew timesheet submissions and approvals using Crew Dashboard.
Using Crew Dashboard
Crew Dashboard allows you to track key elements of crew timesheets on one dashboard in real time:
- Superintendent Group
- Crew name / Crew ID
- Crew manager/foreman
- Crew approver(s)
- Number of employees
- Number of hours
- Submission status (Open, Submitted)
- Approval status (Unapproved, Approved)
To navigate to the Crew Dashboard:
- Navigate to the Crew Timesheets tab.
- Pacific Timesheet will take you to the Crew Timesheets page.
- On the upper left of the sub-navigation bar, you will see Crew Timesheets and Crew Dashboard.
- Click on Crew Dashboard to navigate to the crew dashboard.
Walking Through Crew Dashboard
Dashboard Header
The dashboard header contains date navigation, setup options, print options and a crew superintendent group filter:
- The dashboard always opens to the current day.
- Click the forward/back buttons to move to the previous day or next day
- The dashboard always opens in the Day View. On the upper right, you can change to the Week View.
- Click the More button to:
Refresh the dashboard
Print PDF document of your crew dashboard data - Click on Options to make additional settings:
Set the starting day of the week.
Set the number of rows in Search Results.
Specify the number of crews shown per page,
Set the crew fields to display in the dashboard for the entire system.
Set the Hours Format for the entire system. - Filter allows you to search for Crew Name/ID or Superintendent Group. Just enter either and click apply.
Dashboard Content Area
- Forward/back buttons above and to the right of the dashboard content area allow you to scroll through groups of crew timesheets. Each page will display the number of crews shown per page you specify in options.
- Superintendent Group display column shows the superintendent group to which the crews belongs.
- Crew Name display column.
- Crew ID display column.
- Manager/Approver display column. When you click on the manager name a pop up will display the manager (crew timesheet submitter) and approver(s)
- Employee display column shows the number of employees on that crew.
- Hours display box shows the number hours in the chosen format (e.g. RT / OT / DT). If the dashboard is not setup to show DT, it will not display. Clicking on the Hours display box will navigate you to the crew timesheet.
- Status display box has two columns: the first is crew submitted status (where the open lock means "unsubmitted), and the second is the approval status (where blank means "unapproved" and a green checkbox means "approved"). Clicking on the Status display box will navigate you to the crew timesheet.
- When you click the blue Sync button a crew's dashboard data will update.
