Pacific Time - Percent Allocation Timesheet Tutorial
Pacific Timesheet is the leading provider of percent allocation timesheets.
In this tutorial, we will walk you through using the Pacific Time App.
Logging In
To Get Started, first, make sure you have a working Pacific Timesheet User Account.
Then go to the App Store or Google Play by tapping the buttons above, then download and install your app on your IOS or Android mobile device or tablet.
When you’re ready, open the app and you’ll be taken to the login page.
Server
The first time you log into Pacific Time, you will need to connect to the system in the cloud.
What's My Server?
The Server is in your company’s Pacific Timesheet system name, which is part of the system URL you use in a browser. It looks something like:
https://mycompany.pacifictimesheet.com
Your server would be in the place of mycompany.
Back to Logging In
After entering the Server name, you will be taken to the login page.
Enter your login name and password.
Forgot Password Support
To set your password, tap on Forgot Password.
On the Request Password page, enter your login name, email address or employee ID and a temporary password will be emailed to you
If you have a single sign-on, you’ll need to take a couple of steps as a first-time user. To review these steps now go to Single Sign-On Users Login Instructions at the end of this tutorial.
Once logged in, on the main screen, you can do anything you need with one or two taps.
Tap Timesheet to show your main timesheet page:
The Percent Allocation Timesheet is simple and easy to use. Note that on both sides of the time period, in this case Feb 12 - Feb 18, you have time period forward and back buttons.
Adding new projects is easy. Just tap the Plus (+) button:
Then, just complete the details of your work entry:
You can search for projects, tasks or other work items by tapping on search and typing into the search box. A filtered list of work items will be returned as you type. To select, tap its name, and you will be returned to the time entry details page.
When your time entry is complete, tap "Okay" and you'll be returned to the Timesheet page.
Add Leave
If you have scheduled leave it will already appear in your timesheet. To add new leave, tap the plus (+) button, tap Leave to add a leave row. Select your leave pay code and tap Okay.
Tap the gear icon in the upper right to move back and forth between the "Week View" and "Day View." As with the laptop/desktop application, the system remembers your last view of your timesheet.
Remember that you can go back and forth between the Mobile Percent Allocation Timesheet and your laptop application.

Single Sign-On Users Login Instructions
With Pacific Time, you can login using Single Sign-On, better known as SSO.
To get started, you’ll need to take a couple of extra steps as a first-time user.
First, go to the Pacific Time login page. If your system is enabled for SSO, you will see a blue login button.
The name of your SSO provider will display in the button.
Then tap the blue Login button. This will take you to your Single Sign-On account login page. Type in your SSO account login name and password. Then tap the Sign On button. When you are done the App will take you to the Pacific Time main screen. You’re now logged into Pacific Time using Single Sign-On.
