Track the actual usage of equipment or materials. Entries are records keeping track of what quantities of assets were used over time. For example, you might have a material entry of 10,000 pieces (the quantity) of pipe (the material) used on Monday 3/28 (the date).

Equipment or Material Entries

By clicking Add employees can add new Equipment or Material Entries for submission. Users can fill out the required fields and browse Equipment, Jobs, and Employees for the entry.
Administrators can Submit, Approve, or Reject entries.
Entry Fields
- Select the blue dropdown arrow and click Entry Fields.
- Users can navigate to other Asset and Log modules by selecting from the pick list.
- The default Entry Fields are Date, Asset and Log (Type), Quantity, Job, Employee, Notes, Unit Amount, Amount, Bill Amount, Unit Bill Amount.
- Click Manage Custom Fields to add a new field to the asset and log sheet.
- There are seven columns on Equipment or Material Entry Fields users can Edit:

Name of Expense Entry Field - Enabled
Check to enable or Uncheck to disable - Access
Editable, Hidden, or Read Only - Access Exceptions
Permission Levels With Special Access can be assigned as Editable, Hidden, or Read
Only - Required
Check or Uncheck - New Group
Check or Uncheck - Detail

By clicking Add employees or administrators can add new equipment to be used on Asset and Log Entries. Users can fill out the required fields and browse Class or Unit of Measure to assign to the entry.
Equipment or Material Classes
Equipment or Material Classes will appear in a new Equipment or Material entry.
- Select the blue dropdown arrow and click Equipment or Material Classes.
- Users can navigate to other Asset and Log modules by selecting from the pick list.
- Select Add and fill out the required fields to create a new class.
Custom Fields
Custom Fields will appear in a new Equipment or Materials entry.
- Select the blue arrow and click Manage Custom Fields.
- Click Add.
- Fill out the required fields and choose the field type (Checkbox, Currency, Date, Date and Time, Email Address, File Attachment, Image, List, Number, Text, Text Area, time, or Web Link).
- Add a Filter to restrict the Custom Field to certain Asset and Log Types.
Asset and Log Types
Create custom Asset and Log Type modules by selecting the blue drop down arrow and clicking Asset and Log Types.
Units of Measure
Create new units of measure for your Materials by selecting the blue drop down arrow and clicking Units of Measure.
