What settings prevent employees from viewing their leave balances or pay codes?

Background
Pacific Timesheet's security permissions provide a robust methods to extend and restrict access to pay codes and pay code leave balances. Often, these involve assigning pay code access to groups of employees making it easier to manage and scale these assignments across division, company or country groups. If you are a new Pacific Timesheet system administrator, there are a few quick steps to understand how your pay code permission are setup.
Check security permission levels
If your system is large (several thousand or more employees) and it covers several jurisdictions or countries, it's likely setup to extend and restrict access to certain pay codes. If so, you can quickly confirm that employee security permission level settings are setup this way.
- Navigate to System>Security>Permission Levels
- To view an permission level's settings, click on the name of the permission level.
- Scroll down to Pay Code Permissions
- Confirm that Pay Code Can View is set to Limited. This means that users assigned this permission level

The fix:
As the system administrator,
- Navigate to System>Pay Codes
- Click on the Pay Codes you want to modify
- On the main Pay Code page, scroll to the bottom
- Click on the show/hide button for Permissions
- This will display an alphabetically sorted list of groups with permission to this pay code
- Note that CELS 2nd Grade is not assigned.
- To assign CELS 2nd Grade, click on EDIT and then ADD GROUP
- Browse until you find CELS 2nd Grade
- Place a check mark on the CELS 2nd Grade row
- Then click OK to add
- Repeat for all pay codes CELS 2nd Grade members need access to
